Job Information

The service of ‘Young Professional’ would be utilized in carrying out the following tasks:
i. Preparation of economic research papers including Consultation Papers/discussion papers on a given problem relating to the Civil
Aviation Sector.
ii. Detailed Analysis of Data pertaining to the Sector and writing Reports there on modeling and forecasting based on data.
iii. Preparation of position papers on any of the segments of civil aviationĀ Sector giving current snap shot and future outlook
iv. Financial analysis of viability of operations of carriers and other entities.
v. Analysis of competitive/uncompetitive prices/charges/tariffs in the sector.
vi. Any other task that may be assigned to them from time to time by Economic Advisor, Ministry of Civil Aviation, to whom the Young
Professional shall be reporting.

vii. Economic Advisor, Ministry of Civil Aviation would assign the task, provide guidance and monitor the completion of the task by the Young Professional.
viii. This is full time assignment. Young Professional shall be provided necessary facilities of office space/equipment in the premises of Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan. Office timings of Ministry of civil Aviation shall beĀ applicable.

 

Requirement :

Essential Qualification:
Post Graduate Degree in Economics/ Commerce/Business Administration/ Econometrics/Engineering with relevant post- qualification experience of minimum two years in Applied Research Work in Research Institutes, Consultancy Organizations or in Corporate Sector; should have high levels of proficiency in working with Microsoft Office and in handling Statistical Packages: should have excellent writing skills as per requirement.
III. Desirable: Experience in the area of Applied Economics, Regulations and Regulatory Practices and, or Competition related matters and Financial Analysis.
