Downgrading of DGCA

Considering safety standards of DGCA, FAA has downgraded Indian DGCA to category II on friday. This will hamper the operations of Air India which is expected to join star alliance in coming summer and Jet Air. Now none of the Indian carriers will be able to add new flights to US and have any kind of code share with any American Airlines.

In total there are 33 key inadequancies found in the system.
