New Policy of Air India

Instead of looking into the various matters which constitute problems, Air India is preparing for a contingency plan in order to minimise the effect of pilot strike. Few days back Indian Commercial Pilot Association has informed that they can go on strike if they won’t get their past dues and salaries soon.

In this contingency plan, Air India has asked for pilots from Indian Air Force and planned to take aircrafts on wet lease with crew. Air India is planning to take 15 aircraft on wet lease and to utilize their other bigger aircrafts out of which some aircrafts will come from VIP fleet.
