No technology against FOG..?

With the start of winter season,hundreds of flights gets delayed and cancelled due bad weather or precisely say it is due to fog. With the advancement of new technology still aircrafts are unable to land in bad weather conditions. Flights get diverted and and passengers has to face problems.
