CHPL at CAE,India

CAE is going to lauch ab initio program for helicopter pilot training at CAE,Gondia. It will train around 100 pilots in a year. This school is a combined venture of Airport Authority Of India and CAE. This academy will give training on around 12 helicopters .

Rs2000 Crores

Air India is expecting another bailout package of Rs 2000 Crores in upcoming budget. The cash crunched airline is still bleeding despite other airlines are on a green mark. Air India already received Rs 2000 crores in past two years. Presently,Air India is getting Rs 22 Crores daily,while its expenditure is more than Rs. 30

Aerospace University

Along with news of Aero India 2011, Bangalore is looking for establishment of Aerospace University at Devanahalli, Bangalore. Till date only US,UK,Canada and Australia are having this type of Universities. If this project will be successful, India will be way ahead and can compete with global aviation.

380 on hold

Indian Carrier, Kingfisher ordered A-380 a long time back.But probably Kingfisher is going to take other aircrafts instead of A-380. They have planned to bring 2- A-330, 6-A320 and 1 ATR in the this year. They have planned to acquire 14 aircrafts in 2012 also.
