CABIN LIGHTS ON THE AIRPLANE DIMS WHILE LANDING

You all must have noticed while landing Captain of the flight dims the cabin light of the aircraft. This is a standard procedure and is followed so that the eyes of passengers shall adjust to outside light conditions (dark) .This is done incase a emergency situation happens and passengers have to exit by slide than passenger’s eyes should adjust to low light conditions easily which prevails outside .
