Go First operate Charter Flights for G20 Summit
Domestic airline Go First announced on Monday that it will be operate charter flights for the G20 Summit hosted by India this year. The summit, with the motto “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” or “One Earth, One Family, One Future”, will take place in India from September 9th to 10th. Over 200 meetings related to the G20 have been planned in different cities across the country.
Go First Chief Executive Officer Kaushik Khona said in a statement: “We have been chosen to operate the charter flights for the G20 summit.” A Go First official told PTI that the airline will operate seven charter flights between February 7 and March 23, interconnecting six stations. The official said: “We will be operating a total of seven charter flights between February 7 and March 23, 2023. These flights will interconnect six stations — Delhi, Bhuj, Agra, Khajuraho, Dibugarh and Itanagar.”
The Wadia Group-owned Go First operates over 240 daily flights to 27 domestic and eight international destinations. With the addition of these seven charter flights, Go First is positioned to offer an even more comprehensive suite of travel options for passengers.
