Arun Kashyap joins SpiceJet as Chief Operating Officer

No-frills airline SpiceJet has announced the appointment of Arun Kashyap as its new Chief Operating Officer. Kashyap, who is currently the Chief Technical Officer at Air India, will be rejoining SpiceJet, where he previously served as the Chief Program & Transformation Officer.

In a press release, SpiceJet confirmed that Kashyap’s appointment will be effective from June 12, and he will report directly to the airline’s Chairman and Managing Director, Ajay Singh.

Kashyap brings with him a wealth of experience in the aviation industry, having worked with a number of airlines including flydubai, Jet Airways, and Oman Air. He will now be responsible for overseeing SpiceJet’s daily operations, with a focus on driving growth for the airline.
