IAF officer dismissal

The Indian Air Force has dismissed  Wg Cdr A K Thakur for bribery. The IAF officer has asked Rs 20,000/- from Dassault Falcon during Aero India in February 2011. He asked money for alloting a advantageous position at the aero show.  Later Dassault won the $10 Billion deal from IAF for supply of 126 Raffale aircraft.

Wg Cdr AK Thakur has been court martialed.
