On Saturday, Air Asia India has taken the delivery of 1st aircraft Airbus A-320 with Sharklets at Chennai. The aircraft flew from Toulouse .Sharklets have the folded wing that helps the aircraft to glide much smoothly which reduces emissions and fuel burn. The joint venture between Air Asia, Tata Sons and Telestra Tradespace is still waiting for their flying license from DGCA. The call sign of the aircraft is VT-ATF.
