Ayodhya to soon start chopper joyrides!
Joyrides: Visitors to Ayodhya will soon be able to experience the city from a bird’s eye view! The Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation Ltd has invited proposals from companies/agencies that offer helicopter services, allowing tourists to take a joyride over the city on a trial basis.
Mukesh Meshram, the Principal Secretary of Tourism, has declared that the state has a helipad in both Lucknow and Ayodhya. They are currently investigating options to provide an air taxi service. Also, offering joyrides to those who wish to visit Ayodhya from Lucknow.
In December 2022, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath declared that the tourism of Ayodhya will be increased tenfold by 2024. Consequently, all efforts are being made in order to meet this goal.
An international airport is anticipated to be set up this year, which is expected to bring a surge in the number of tourists to the area. Therefore, the Yogi government is initiating the helicopter facility to help further this ambition.
The introduction of helicopter joyrides in Ayodhya will give visitors an unparalleled view of the ancient city. From the air, tourists will be able to appreciate the city’s rich heritage and culture and its stunning architecture. The majestic Ram Temple, the many ghats along the river, the old fort, and other places of worship will be clearly visible from the sky. Overall, Tourists will be able to observe the hustle and bustle of Ayodhya from a distance.
