DGCA meet with Boeing & GE Engines
Air India recently deployed B 787 on Delhi-Tokyo route for luring more passengers & saving fuel. The airlines have reported that whenever engines are coming in contact with cumulonimbus clouds, icing is forming on the engines. The Indian regualtor Director General of Civil Aviation has called GE Engine manufacturer & Boeing for a meet.Recently even Japan Airline also withdraw its B 787 on the same route. Actually,those engines requires minimum of 60 miles distance from cumulonimbus clouds & Chinese authorities provides a limited airspace for maneuvering of commercial aircraft.
