IndiGo Enhances Domestic Connectivity with Biweekly Flights from Bangkok to Kolkata
Kolkata, India – In a bid to strengthen its domestic connectivity and cater to the increasing demand for international travel, low-cost carrier IndiGo has announced the introduction of biweekly flights between Bangkok and Kolkata starting June 3. The airline aims to provide customers with enhanced flight options and seamless connectivity within Southeast Asia.
Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, expressed the airline’s commitment to meeting customer demands for more international connections to Southeast Asia. “Our new Bangkok-Kolkata route caters to the growing demand from customers for more international connections to Southeast Asia. We are committed to providing our customers with a seamless travel experience through more flight options and hassle-free connectivity,” he said.
Starting June 3, IndiGo will operate flights from Bangkok to Kolkata on Tuesdays and Saturdays, with return flights from Kolkata to Bangkok available on Wednesdays and Sundays. This strategic schedule allows travelers to plan their trips conveniently, whether for business or leisure purposes.

Furthermore, IndiGo has announced plans to introduce daily flights between Kolkata and Surat as well as Kolkata and Hyderabad, starting from July 3. These additional routes aim to further strengthen the airline’s domestic network and provide increased connectivity options for passengers.
To meet the demand for existing popular routes, IndiGo will also be increasing the frequency of flights from Kolkata to Bengaluru and Goa starting June 26. This move will provide travelers with more flexibility in scheduling their journeys and enable easier access to these vibrant destinations.
