IndiGo: Lucknow Airport Welcomes New Flights to Abu Dhabi and Dubai
IndiGo, one of India’s leading airlines, has announced the addition of two non-stop daily flights to Abu Dhabi and Dubai, thereby enhancing the international connectivity of Lucknow Airport. Commencing operations on July 12, these new flights are expected to bolster the airport’s average international flight count from 13 to 17 flights per day, according to officials from the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (CCSIA).

The CCSIA spokesperson expressed their delight in announcing that IndiGo will now connect Lucknow to Abu Dhabi as a new destination, while also reinstating its services to Dubai from July 12. Last month, Lucknow airport successfully introduced two flights to Dammam, and with the upcoming addition of four flights to Abu Dhabi and Dubai, the average number of international flights will increase to 17 per day, further enhancing connectivity for travelers.”
The non-stop flight from Lucknow Airport to Abu Dhabi departs daily at 18:20 hrs, and the return flight arrives at 03:25 hrs. Similarly, passengers will enjoy convenient travel options as the Lucknow-Dubai flight departs at 13:30 hrs, while the return Dubai-Lucknow flight arrives at 22:20 hrs.
In recent times, Lucknow Airport has been successful in attracting three new airlines, namely Air Asia India, Akasa Air, and Thai Air Asia, to commence operations at the state capital. This increased airline presence reflects the growing demand for air travel and the airport’s commitment to serving its passengers better.
Lucknow Airport, on an average day, handles approximately 18,000 passengers across 120 flights, solidifying its status as a key transport hub in the region. With the addition of the new flights to Abu Dhabi and Dubai by IndiGo, passengers will now have increased options and convenience when planning their international travel from Lucknow.
The introduction of these flights also signifies the continuous growth and development of Lucknow Airport, catering to the needs of travelers and strengthening its position as a gateway to the world.
