IoTechWorld has already established collaborations with various universities and institutions to support the RPTOs.

Deepak Bhardwaj, Co-founder, and Director of IoTechWorld, stated that two RPTOs in Gharaunda and Jobner would become functional this month. In June, three more RPTOs in Gurugram, Chikballapur, and Samastipur will begin operations. The remaining two RPTOs in Rajahmundry and Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, are expected to be operational by July. The company aims to train 360 drone pilots per location annually through these RPTOs, bringing the total number of pilots trained to date to over 400.

Anoop Upadhyay, Co-founder, and Director of IoTechWorld, emphasized that the establishment of these new RPTOs will play a crucial role in training a larger number of pilots who can operate drones safely and efficiently. This expansion will not only meet the growing demand for skilled drone pilots but also create numerous job opportunities in the drone industry.

IoTechWorld in fiscal year

IoTechWorld, which already also has a presence in 12 states across India, has reported selling over 500 drones in the fiscal year 2022-23. The company has set an ambitious target of selling at least 3,000 drones this year, reflecting its confidence in the increasing adoption of drones in various sectors.

With the proliferation of drones across industries such as agriculture, logistics, surveillance, and cinematography, the need for well-trained and competent drone pilots has become essential. IoTechWorld’s initiative to establish seven RPTOs underscores its commitment to promoting the safe and responsible use of drones while supporting the development of the drone industry in India.

As the drone ecosystem continues to expand, IoTechWorld’s efforts to provide comprehensive training and certification programs will contribute significantly to the professionalization of the drone pilot community.
By equipping the trained pilots with the necessary skills and knowledge, IoTechWorld aims to ensure their effective operation of drones, enabling the safe integration of drones into the national airspace and unlocking the full potential of this transformative technology.
