Tata-Singapore Airways

The venture between Tatas and Singapore Airways is all set to launch operations by October. They will be flying under a new brand name which is likely to be announced within a week.

Both the companies have distinguish brand names for their products or business models. For example Singpore Airlines has Silk Air which runs on regional routes and Scoot which is a low cost airlines. Singapore Airlines has stakes in Tiger Airways also.

Similarly, TATA  Group also has varied brands name from Tanishq for Jewellery,Taj Air for Charters & Westside for apparels business. The TATA-SIA airlines will be based our of Delhi and planning to reach 11 cities within a year of operations. TATA-SIA will be linking Delhi,Mumbai,Hyderabad,Ahmedabad,Jammu,Bangalore,Goa,Patna & Sri Nagar.
