Vinod Kannan, the CEO of Vistara, highlighted Dammam’s significance as a critical administrative center in Saudi Arabia and a significant location for the Indian diaspora. He stated that Vistara’s inclusion of Dammam in its expanding international network aligns with its mission to enhance its footprint in the Middle East.

According to Kannan, Dammam will become Vistara’s fifth destination in the region, following Dubai, Jeddah, Abu Dhabi, and Muscat. He expressed confidence that Vistara’s award-winning products and services would make it the preferred choice for travelers on the Mumbai-Dammam route.

Additionally, Kannan announced the commencement of the flight and expressed excitement about expanding the company’s presence in Saudi Arabia by adding Dammam as the second city in the Kingdom, following Jeddah. He emphasized that Dammam is also an important administrative destination and a significant contributor to the Saudi Vision 2030, given its status as the location of the largest port in the Gulf and several major business headquarters.
