HOW TO GET COMPUTER NUMBER,INDIAN DGCA (Flight Crew) Indian Nationals.

complete information on what a computer number is , how to apply , validity and the purpose of a computer number for airmen. computer number is a unique ID allowed to each candidate in order to appear for the airmen examination in DGCA and to obtain and Indian DGCA license.computer number is simply a way to create a file with all your details which are to be approved by DGCA for a individual record of a candidate. No one person can have 2 computer numbers and each person allowed with one will have it for the rest of their time as its validity is of life time. with this the candidate can login and check his/her exam details, results, flying hours, when do they expire and when should they renew . STEPS ON HOW TO APPLY COMPUTER NUMBER FOR A BEGINNER

1.On your web browser type in https://pariksha.dgca.gov.in

2.“click to proceed” click on the 1st option new candidate registration

3.Once you read all the instructions and you’re eligible click on submit to fill in your details. remember all this information will be of permanent data and cannot be changed , also make sure you have access to the email ID and the phone number when needed.

4.After filling all the details mark the box 1.15 – I have never registered with DGCA for computer number , 1.16 – fill in the captcha code and click ok now your temporary registration is complete

5.Enter the OTP which has been sent to your registered phone number on the site.and then go on to your email to verify your email ID as directed by the site and click on activate account to type in password of your choice and confirm

6.After being registered log out of the current page and once again click to proceed but this time chose the 3rd option candidate login

7.Put in your email ID/password and captcha code

8.After logging in fill in the remaining details address , applying for (Eg: CPL) , nationality, nothing on training and flying details , passport and educational details (compulsory maths and physics for CPL)

9.After you click ok and submit you will have to scan and upload all the documents in between 70kb and 200kb photograph, signature, DOB proof, Xth and 12th mark sheet, X and 12th pass certificate, board verification, address proof. 10.once you upload you will be on the review page check every detail before submitting the application you will get your temporary ID

and an email of a PDF file will be sent to your registered mail ID print it out in colour

11.fill out the form and then paste your photograph(matt finish with 70%face) at the bottom right and get a crossed signature and stamp (half on page half on photo) of a gazetted officer

12.send hard copies of all the uploaded documents along with this paper to its best to have a set of photocopies of all documents for your reference later on ,put them all in an envelope and speed post it to DGCA on the following address : temporary ID_____ , Central exam organisation, Directorate general of civil Avaiation ,east block III, level III, Rk Puram, New Delhi 110066

13.you will receive your permanent computer number on your email ID with in 4 – 6 weeks. All the best!
