Just 4804 pilots serving the Indian Aviation
The Aviation Minister,Prafull Patel announced in Rajya Sabha that only 4804 pilots are currently serving the whole Indian Aviation Industry including foreign pilots also.

Jet Airways – 137
Air India (including Air India Express) – 136
Jetlite – 3
Indigo – 41
Deccan Cargo – 7
Paramount Airways – 22
