No Electricity in DGCA Since 4 Days :
India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) office is struggling with electricity problem from past 4 days. All the work is being halted at main Head Quarter office,Safdarjung. Recently some excavation work was going on, during the same task electricity cable got cut. The electricity is not expected for another 3-4 days.
DGCA :
Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is the Indian governmental regulatory body for civil aviation under the Ministry of Civil Aviation. This directorate investigates aviation accidents and incidents. It is headquartered along Sri Aurobindo Marg, opposite Safdarjung Airport, in New Delhi. The Government of India is planning to replace the organisation with a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), modelled on the lines of the American Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Most of the DGCA officials either not coming to office or going home very early. It is to be notified that main headquarter of Civil Aviation doesn’t have electricity backup. Since most of the work is online, DGCA is not even accepting the documents as they cannot generate the receipt.
